Taiwan income-tax band worksheet
Trace taxable income, marginal tax and withholding for a supplied Taiwan tax-year schedule. The example bands are not statutory rates.
Your inputs
Start with the example values, then replace them with your own. For tables, keep the vertical bar separators and use a dot for decimals.
Illustrative inputs are not certified current rates or an entitlement decision. Confirm the country, year, eligibility and contract. This limited model is not a tax return, payroll service or financial/legal advice. Do not act on it without verifying the applicable rules.
Tool inputs are processed in your browser and are not submitted by this tool. Existing site analytics and advertising services have their own privacy terms.

How it works
Subtract exemptions and deductions, floor taxable income at zero, apply the entered bands, subtract nonrefundable credits and finally withholding. A negative balance is a modeled refund. Filing-unit choices, separate salary computation, basic tax and overseas income require separate assessment.
Worked example
These sample results use the original example inputs in the form. They do not change when you edit your inputs; your own result appears in the workspace.
- Taxable income scenario: 900000
- Tax before credits: 262000
- Balance after credits and withholding: 212000
| Band ceiling | Rate % | Income slice | Tax |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20000 | 10 | 20000 | 2000 |
| 60000 | 20 | 40000 | 8000 |
| 1000000000 | 30 | 840000 | 252000 |
Read the result carefully
Results depend on the values and assumptions shown above. Change one input at a time to see its effect. A blank or unavailable result means the data does not support a calculation; it is not zero.
