Quebec federal and provincial tax scenario
Inspect separate federal and Quebec tax layers with supplied taxable incomes, brackets and credits. Default brackets are illustrative.
Your inputs
Start with the example values, then replace them with your own. For tables, keep the vertical bar separators and use a dot for decimals.
Illustrative inputs are not certified current rates or an entitlement decision. Confirm the country, year, eligibility and contract. This limited model is not a tax return, payroll service or financial/legal advice. Do not act on it without verifying the applicable rules.
Tool inputs are processed in your browser and are not submitted by this tool. Existing site analytics and advertising services have their own privacy terms.

How it works
Apply each marginal schedule, subtract its nonrefundable credits, and apply the entered abatement to the remaining modeled federal amount. This simplified ordering does not cover all federal abatement-base adjustments, refundable credits, QPP, QPIP or EI. Compare with an official return before using a liability estimate.
Worked example
These sample results use the original example inputs in the form. They do not change when you edit your inputs; your own result appears in the workspace.
- Federal tax after entered abatement: 8350
- Provincial tax after credits: 10000
- Combined modeled income tax: 18350
Read the result carefully
Results depend on the values and assumptions shown above. Change one input at a time to see its effect. A blank or unavailable result means the data does not support a calculation; it is not zero.
